The Plan for 2026
I’ve always been a class guy. I loved gymnastics class growing up. I started taking fitness classes in 2013 and never looked back. I love the camaraderie, the social accountability, and that I work harder when I’m around my peers. Sometimes I’ll be having the worst day, but when I walk into class, I still get a good workout in because, “if everyone else can do this today without complaining, I can too.”
When the pandemic happened and all of my coaching went online, I was nervous. I didn’t know how I would be able to replicate the same feeling online that I created in my classes, but that ended up being okay because there are a lot of people who prefer to work out outside of a class setting. You may be one of them!
We launched Pridefit app as a way to bring world-class programming to members who wanted directed independence. We knew that this would be great for individuals who already had solid fitness habits under their belt—who didn’t need to rely on a coach every day for motivation getting to the gym.
In 2026, we’re releasing brand new gym programs and we’ve got huge plans to launch new features to keep getting results for our gym-goers.
And we’re also going back to where my fitness journey began: with live classes (hosted on Zoom).
“In 2026, we’re releasing brand new gym programs and we’ve got huge plans to launch new features to keep getting results for our gym-goers.”
Pridefit LIVE is launching in early 2026 for our members who want to work out from the comfort of their home, with coaching feedback and built-in community accountability. Just like an Orangetheory or F45 class, you’ll sign up for your class ahead of time, build a relationship with your coach, and even get movement feedback (if you want to have your camera on).
We’re launching a full schedule of classes for you to choose from. You’ll have multiple class options in the morning and evening, and the only equipment required is a set of dumbbells and some space to move your body.
Just like in-person classes, your coach will check in when you miss class, make sure you’re moving safely, encourage you to push yourself in workouts, create workout playlists, and so much more.
But unlike in-person classes, you don’t need to go to a gym, you don’t even need to be on camera (if you don’t want to), and you’ll have the flexibility of fitting our 45 minute classes into your busy schedule without the commute.
One of our primary goals at Pridefit has always been accessibility. We want to make sure that all queer people (and allies!) feel safe and confident moving their bodies. Virtual live classes finally give us the opportunity to provide this service. It is truly accessible fitness.
We’re in the process of hiring coaches, building the infrastructure to provide the best class experience possible, and creating programming that will work in tandem with your Pridefit app. If you miss your LIVE workout on Tuesday for example, don’t worry! You can do that workout in the app instead.
We need your help testing and getting the program off the ground. Over the next few weeks we’re going to be making more announcement about Pridefit LIVE. The more you engage and give us your feedback, the better off this program will be.
