My name is Sam Leicht (like lightning 😉⚡️) and I’m a health coach, entrepreneur, and actor based in NYC. In 2020 I founded Pridefit, an LGBTQIA+ fitness app working to help queer people feel confident exercising and walking into the gym. It’s been the most incredible ride making this community and helping LGBTQIA+ people from around the world meet other like-minded individuals!
I was last seen on Broadway in a show called "The Lightning Thief" - and I can’t wait to get back on the stage someday!
I’m from Wisconsin (so I ❤️ cheese), and I’ve got the most incredible husband, Jared, and dog, Meryl.

I specialize in yoga, mobility, and strength training for every body - which means I'll provide scaling options for every workout you need! I want to reach and make yoga accessible to every BODY. Our community, now more than ever, needs a safe space to open up to ourselves and one another. It’s an honor and a privilege to be part of the PrideFit community, see you on the mat!
I've been a personal trainer and yoga teacher for over 10 years, and I live in Dallas, TX with my partner ❤️🏳️🌈

SEAN GUNN
COACH
Hey! I’m a Zimbabwean swimmer who competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics and represented my country at the World Swimming Championships. Over my career, I broke the Zimbabwe national records in both the 100m and 200m freestyle—records I set while swimming for the University of Kentucky, with the 200m record still standing today.
After the Olympics, I retired from competitive swimming but carried forward the lessons the sport taught me: discipline, consistency, and the importance of adapting to challenges. My training philosophy is all about blending hard work with smart, individualized strategies—because progress comes not just from pushing harder, but from training with purpose.
Today, I live in Cape Town, South Africa, with my boyfriend. I’m passionate about helping others reach their own potential—whether in the pool, the gym, or everyday life.

Kevin Maxen
STRENGTH SPECIALIST
Hi, I’m Kevin Maxen!
I recently moved to NYC after spending the past 4 years in Jacksonville, FL as an Assistant Strength & Conditioning for the Jacksonville Jaguars. My journey as a strength coach has allowed me to move around the country quite a bit with stops working for a private gym in Los Angeles, the football teams of USMA-West Point, University of Iowa, Baylor and Vanderbilt, as well as J.J Pearce High School in Dallas where I was the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for the High School and Junior High schools.
For me, the beauty of strength training is the fact that it is both an art project and science experiment. As a coach who takes a special interest in the programming aspect of training, it is truly a form of expression and creativity where you get to play by the rules the way you decide to interpret them. Training an athlete or a client requires a special human connection which as an avid reader I welcome with open arms and mind.

I’m a perpetual optimist, a dynamic fitness personality, and a natural-born entertainer who brings energy and enthusiasm to everything I do—whether it’s on stage, on screen, or in the gym. I’m passionate about movement and love helping others discover the joy, confidence, and vitality that come from living an active lifestyle. Beyond fitness, I’m a screenwriter, actor, singer, and dancer (and yes, I even play the bagpipes). Always looking on the bright side—perhaps to a fault—I like to say I’m the Patrick to your SpongeBob, approaching life and fitness with equal parts humor, heart, and dedication.

BRENNA MULHOLLAND

Hey, I’m Brenna Mulholland! I left the corporate world to join the Pridefit team in 2020 shortly after its inception. It has been an absolute joy to help build something that has benefited so many people in the LGBTQ community. I’m typically behind the computer helping queer athletes around the world find Pridefit or in my kitchen building recipes for the Pridefit app. I am also a certified personal trainer, virtual coaching specialist, and nutrition coach.
I currently live in Germany with my wife, Kelly. I love traveling, cooking, and am always down for a hike.

Carli Robinette
HEAD OF OPERATIONS
Hi, I’m Carli! I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Women's Fitness Specialist, and Stretching and Flexibility Coach.. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, I bring my passion for movement to both fitness and the arts. I work as an after-school arts enrichment instructor and guest choreographer for several dance studios and a youth ballet company. As the Head of Operations for Pridefit since 2021, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and motivating environment, and I’m excited to continue growing with her Pridefit family for years to come!
