Our biggest update yet 📲
We are so unbelievably excited to share with you our biggest app update yet! We’ve been working incredibly hard with our development team to make the app the best that it can possibly be, and we know that this update will improve your workouts dramatically!
Let’s jump into the changes 🙌
1️⃣. Essential workouts are no longer ordered by day. People have all different schedules, so rather than starting your workouts on a Monday, we changed the programs to start on “day 1.” This means that rather than skipping days each week and moving to your next week, now we want you to actually complete every day in the week before clicking “complete week” on the bottom of your weekly workout schedule.

2️⃣. We removed the cardio timer for your aerobic capacity days and added a log feature instead. Let’s be honest—there are some incredible cardio apps out there that help you track your mileage and heart rate, and until we can match that quality, we want you to use a run tracker like Strava, and then log how your workout went in the Pridefit app.

3️⃣. One of my favorite new features in the app is the ability to easily log your weights right from the “workout overview” and “start workout” screens. You’ll notice a “log” button next to every exercise, and when you click, you’ll see any previously logged weights as well. We made this change to allow you to log your weights during your workout rather than afterward. Also, if you are using the workout overview and don’t want to click the “start workout” button, you can now scroll to the bottom of your workout and log your workout time and effort.

4️⃣. If you go to the fourth tab of the app and click “Journal” you’ll see that we’ve completely revamped this section. Everything you log in the app can now be found in one place from your rest days, cardio days, on-demand workouts, essential workouts, custom activities, and logged weights. You can toggle your journal to only show certain types of logs, and also be able to easily find PR’s and previous progress pictures. Think of this as a one-stop-shop for everything you’ve tracked in the Pridefit app.

4️⃣. Finally, you’ll notice that the habit tracker looks a little different than it used to. That’s because we’re developing the habit tracker of our DREAMS in the next couple months that we can’t wait to share with you!

We hope you enjoy the updates, and can’t wait to hear how your workouts go with these new features! If you have any feature requests, make sure to send them our way so we can get our dev team on it! Also, sometimes updates aren’t perfect, so let us know if you find any bugs and we appreciate your patience ❤️
